Greetings Icard Elementary,It has been a beautiful weekend!  I hope that you all have been able to enjoy the sunshine!We had a busy and productive week at Icard.  Our fifth graders had a successful Sound to Sea trip- thank you Wanda Hege and Christy Baker- while several of our fourth graders presented at Battle of the Books and Math Counts. A special thanks to the sponsors, Tonya Smith; Amanda Rollins; Courtney Hull; and Ashley Bean.   • Updated Post from Mrs. Burris Greetings and Happy Saint Patrick’s Day Icard Elementary,We have had so much fun this past week “putting our Irish on” with shamrocks and leprechauns.  We not only had fun, but the students also learned!We have several items on our agenda this week.  Kindergarten registration begins tomorrow and runs through May 3, 2019.  If you have or know a child in the Icard district who will be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2019, please come by the school and secure a registration packet.  The kindergarten registration process is very important.  Our fifth graders will be traveling to the coast for their Sound to Sea field trip.  Students participating in this field trip have to report ...

  • Updated Post from Mrs. Burris Greetings Icard Elementary,I hope that you have had a great weekend.  Remember that we sprang forward this weekend, so don’t show up and hour late on Monday!We had a great time at our 2019 Reading Night on Tuesday.  We had great success with our used book sale and our spirit week participation.  Thank you Icard community for help in these endeavors!This week spring pictures will be taken on Wednesday, March 13. Have a good and productive week!Jeanene Burris, Principal

Happy March Icard Elementary,Remember, there will be no school for students tomorrow, Monday, March 4.  It is a teacher workday.We will be observing Read Across America with our spirit week.  Students could either pay one dollar per day or four dollars for the five days.  Tuesday, March 5, will be busy.  First, it is wacky sock day for those participating.  Please remember that our yearbook sales end Tuesday.  The cost is only fifteen dollars.  Third through fifth-grade AIG students will be going to the STEAM Academy.  The IES Used Book Sale will begin and run through Thursday, March 7.  Tuesday evening, we will also be having our parent night.  The event begins at five o’clock with ...
